We’d love to be able to recommend a Hyundai i10 Mk2 (2013-2019) for you, but they’re not cheap enough to fit your budget yet. For a maximum of €3,500, assuming you’d like something reliable (so it’s not expensive to fix), a Toyota Yaris 1.0 seems to be your chief target. You should be able to secure a decent 2007-2009 car for your money.
