which is the better engine crdi 2000cc or 2200 cc sante fe or is it the road tax different
Hi Jimmy,
I'm not sure that one of them is better than the other. Both used the same variable geometry turbocharger technology and timing chains. The 2.0-litre is usually paired with a manual gearbox while the 2.2 is usually with an auto, though four-wheel drive was available on both. The 2.2 is far more common and is also used on the current new Santa Fe (the 2.0 is not) so I'd be inclined to go for that. It's also more powerful, but yes, the 2.0-litre can be cheaper to tax due to lower CO2 emissions.
