Which car for up to €7,000?
I've not been driving for a number of years as I didn't need a car. However, I'm thinking of getting a car just for weekend use. As I've been out of driving for so long, my insurance will be pretty high. What would be a decent car to get back to driving in with a budget for a car up to 7000?

Due to your unusual circumstances, you’re kind of going to have to treat this as if you’re a new driver. Therefore, we’d recommend a good, used supermini - €7,000 should get you a wealth of choice of used but not that old B-segment metal, such as the Ford Fiesta, SEAT Ibiza, Skoda Fabia and Volkswagen Polo. In a few years’ time, maybe your insurance position will then allow you to trade up. Keep the engine size down, basically.
