Well, both the Audi A5 and the BMW 4 Series are cars that can, at a push, carry four adults if they need to, even as Coupes; they’re even better and more practical in their four-door Sportback and Gran Coupe (respectively) guises. The TT Coupe is a 2+2 and there may be an argument to say that it could be an investment piece, as new Audi CEO Bram Schot has confirmed the model will be killed off after this generation goes out of production – that could see second-hand values of the TT start to rise. In truth, the BMW is the best car to drive (as is often the way in the Audi v BMW battle) if you value feedback and enjoyment, but a quattro A5 Sportback would be a fine all-rounder. We’d go for that.
