That's not a simple answer, annoyingly. The pre-2013 1.2 TSI Octavia used a chain, so, assuming you have the third-generation Octavia, there are no scheduled changes for the belt, according to our date. Instead, Skoda recommends it's checked periodically. Interestingly, for countries with high levels of dust, the belt must be changed at 120,000km regardless of time. Perhaps it would be useful to speak to a few Skoda dealers to get their take on it.
