When to replace my Ibiza's belt?
My Seat ibiza 1.4 2010 has done 40,000 miles but has not had the timing belt replaced.When should it be replaced?

Hi Helen,
It depends which 1.4-litre engine it is. The diesel's belt must be changed every 150,000km, regardless of time, the regular 1.4 petrol engine's belt should be changed every five years regardless of mileage and the 1.4 TSI engine has a timing chain, not a belt.
