When to change the Leon's timing belt?

When to change the Leon's timing belt?

I am buying a 151 Seat Leon 1.6 TDI. There is 92,000 km on it. When does the timing belt have to be done???

Our answer:

Hi Aidan,

The recommended interval is 210,000km regardless of time, unless in a high-dust environment, in which case it's 120,000km. We'd always urge caution with timing belts and change them earlier than is recommended.
