It depends whether your car is on a fixed service schedule or variable. The latter uses an in-car system to monitor the oil and suggest when a change is necessary, though comes with a maximum distance between changes of 24,000km. The fixed schedule is every 15,000km or 12 months, whichever comes sooner.
