When to change my Astra's belt?
I have a 2013 vauxhall astra, 1.6. At what mileage is it due a new timing belt as I've nearing 130,000 km now

Hi Lorraine,
There are several different 1.6-litre engines in that age of Astra. The diesel uses a timing chain, not a belt, so I'm ruling that one out. If you have the 1.6 16-valve petrol model (with or without a turbocharger) then the belt should be changed at least every 150,000km or six years, whichever comes first.
