When to change a Skoda Rapid's belt?

There was a model year update for that car in 2015 where the 1.2 TSI engine also changed. Before that, the engine used a timing chain, but it had a timing belt afterwards. It's likely that yours is the newer engine. The engine code starts with "CJZ". If it starts with "CBZ" then it has a timing chain.
