There is no set schedule or even an average time for such a thing, I'm afraid. An engine can theoretically go on forever if you're willing to keep working on it and repairing it when necessary. On top of all that, if a 206's engine does 'go' it's unlikely at this stage that it would be economically sensible to fit a new one, given the costs involved and the low value of the car.
