When to change a 2009 Polo's belt?
At which mileage do you change the cambelt on a 209 year polo 1.6 trend a04 74kW. the handbook is confusing (every 180000km 4cyl. 5 valve petrol engines only) on an other place pls ask your vw dealer when it should be changed. answers 100 000, 130 000 and 180 000 km.

The confusion might be that there was a model change in 2009. We found the following information based on what you told us:
2003-2009 1.6 101hp (74kW): belt should be checked by mechanic at 90,000km and then every 30,000km after that until it's deemed necessary to change it.
