When should the timing belt on a 132 Seat Leon 1598cc be changed. It has 125,000 km on the clock
Hi Stephen,
There are petrol and diesel versions of the 132 Leon with 1,598cc capacities and they both use timing belts. For the diesel, the belt must be changed every 210,000km regardless of time. For the petrol engine, the belt must be checked at 240,000km and then every 30,000km until the mechanic deems it necessary to change it.
