When should the belt in a 2008 Golf 1.4 be changed?
Hi, Looking at buying a used 2008 vw golf gt sport 1.4 tai 140 hp 1390 cc 3 door with 80,000 miles on it. Does anyone know the interval in miles and years that the timing belt should be replaced? Thanks

Actually that engine uses a timing chain, not a belt. Chains don't usually have a set replacement schedule.
