There’s no answer to this – like all cars, the Mazda CX-7 can go on indefinitely, provided it has had timely and thorough upkeep throughout its life. Therefore, the engine should theoretically last forever, although the turbocharger on either its 2.3-litre petrol or 2.2-litre diesel engine will have a limited shelf life. Once that is replaced or reconditioned, though, the engine should be fine to continue.
