When did Lexus introduce the IS hybrid?

When did Lexus introduce hybrid model for IS250 model?

Our answer:

Hi Eamon,

There’s a tiny bit of confusion here – the IS 250 was, specifically, never a hybrid, but a 2.5-litre petrol V6, and was part of the second generation IS range, which ran from 2005 to 2013. There was never a hybrid version of that model. The current IS saloon range was introduced in 2013, and so far in Ireland has only been sold as a hybrid, badged IS 300h. There are other engine options available in the UK and US markets, but in Ireland the car has thus far only been sold as a hybrid.
