What's up with my Verso?
Hi- I drive a 11 diesel verso that seems to be giving off excessive white/grey smoke when engine comes up to temp..the Toyota dealership mentioned that it’s probably ‘regen’ but if it’s very excessive (which I think it has been) it could be the 5th injector?? Is this an expensive problem to fix? It doesn’t happen every car journey..thank you

A qualified mechanic at a Toyota dealership should be very good at telling you precisely what the issue is. They really need to see the issue and not just be told about it, though, so make sure they do. White smoke could indicate an issue with one of the fuel injectors for sure. Might be worthwhile getting the car plugged into a diagnostic computer to narrow down the issue.
