What's up with my BMW's service indicator?
The odometer on my 520d says service due in 5000km. But it hasn't changed and I've done over 2000km since it appeared. Why is this?

Hi Neil,
Your BMW has a variable service indicator that monitors the state of the engine oil and alters the suggested service date accordingly. Don't be surprised if the distance to the next service suddenly drops and it's worth scheduling in a service when it suits you.
