What's up with my Astra?
I have a 05 Opel Astra and she 'chugs' in low gears (like gears 1-3). Have brought it to the mechanic and he says it could be multiple things but it's very annoying. Any way of knowing what it could be?

That sounds very frustrating, but it really is impossible to assess from afar. Plugging the car into a diagnostic machine might reveal some error codes that would help diagnose the issue, but the best bet is to bring it to a good experienced mechanic to sort out.
