What's this on my Volkswagen?!
Volkswagen UP 2014! So I’ve had my car for about 7 months and I’ve had to get my breaks done about a month ago as it was making loud noises. Since then on my front passenger side tyre it’s spat up rust all on the side of my car , I got told to wipe it and it will go so I’ve tried several times and as it’s stayed there it’s now managed to spread little orange dots the whole way round my car! Does anyone know what it could be??

Without seeing the car, it's very difficult to know, but it could just be copper grease, which may have been used on the back of the brake pads. It would be highly unusual for it to spray up and get on the paintwork though, so I'd suggest that it's up to the garage that did the brakes to clean that off for you. Failing that, go to a good motor factors and show them it and they may be able to recommend a suitable cleaning product.
