Hi Shane, What do you think of the 2017-2021 Renault Grand Scenic in Diesel. I would like one with a panoramic roof. The overall reliability is weighing on my mind but I see so many Renault's on the road they can't be too bad of a car? Thanks
Hi Brian,
In general I'm a big fan of that car, though if you're coming from a hatchback (as you mentioned in your other message), and you don't need the space, you might find it less satisfying to drive as it is a tall, bulky car. Likewise, we'd suggest only going for the diesel if you need its long-distance economy, as otherwise it could get expensive to maintain.
The Grand Scenic has proven to be fairly reliable in general but check all systems, especially the infotainment and electrics, as you should for any purchase. I'd also suggest you take it for a decent test drive over bad roads, as the Grand Scenic rides on tall alloy wheels as standard and the low-profile tyres affect the ride comfort.
