The cheapest 2.0 diesel Insignia is the 140hp S four-door saloon, and that starts at €27,095. The cheapest 1.6 diesel Insignia is the Elite four-door saloon, and that starts at €33,655.
Why the difference? Simple - the 1.6 engine is newer, more powerful and more technologically advanced than the old 2.0-litre.
