What's the best medium SUV?
Hi, What's the best happy medium suv with enough space for grown kids, height off the ground for bad backs and won't break the bank to run or repair? Thanks.

I think your best bets are going to be either a Nissan Qashqai (everyone’s got one for a good reason, plus they’re roomy, good to drive and reliable) or a SEAT Ateca (bargain of the year, very spacious, handsome, solidly built). Make sure you consider petrol if you’re only doing low mileage — the Nissan’s 1.2-litre turbo petrol and the SEAT's 150hp 1.4 turbo are both excellent engines and nearly as economical in everyday driving as a diesel away from the motorway.
