The first-generation Volvo XC60 is a very pleasant SUV, but the 2012MY was prior to the facelift of 2014, which made the car look a little bit neater and more premium. Nevertheless, as a comfortable and classy family conveyance, an XC60 is a good shout. Do watch out for minor, niggling reliability issues, though, as some XC60s have a tendency for electronic warning lights to come on for very little reason.
