What will I upgrade my Lupo to?
Hi, I was wondering what type of car you would think is a suitable upgrade from a Volkswagen Lupo. I've a budget of €2,500 and I am a delivery driver, not looking for a car that is too big but one bigger than a Lupo.

Hi Nathan,
You’re probably best to trade up slightly to a supermini-style hatch – a bit more space and refinement but with very little extra in the way of running costs. Tonnes around at your price point, with the Ford Fiesta, Toyota Yaris, Volkswagen Polo and Skoda Fabia being the safest bets. If you fancied something a bit more stylish (albeit lacking in rear seat and boot space) you could potentially trade up to an early-2000s MINI – but tread carefully as they’re a little more expensive to care for.
