What will I swap my Astra for?
I have a 2009 Opel Astra automatic petrol with 87,500km on clock. Would like to upgrade to something else say 2012/13 also automatic but slightly bigger. What would you recommend? Also any idea what the Astra is worth? It is a five-door hatch.

You’re probably looking at a value of around €8,000 for the Astra, maybe a little more with a following wind. You say you want something a bit bigger, so there are lots of options. How about something German? A BMW 3 Series Touring estate perhaps? Track down a nice 320d with a full service history and feel the premium. A bit bigger again? Hyundai Santa Fes are always popular, have extra seats in the boot and are endlessly reliable. Always easy to sell on again too. Or if you really need masses of space, how about a Ford S-Max? Seven seats again, huge inside and terrific to drive.
