If you want to make a like-for-like switch for something new, you’re looking at C- and D-segment SUVs (Opel Grandland X, Peugeot 3008 or 5008, SEAT Ateca or Tarraco, Skoda Kodiaq, Volkswagen Tiguan/Allspace and the Honda CR-V), or some of the premium offerings – like the Audi Q3/Q5, BMW X1/X2/X3/X4, Mercedes GLC/Coupe, Lexus NX or the Volvo XC40/XC60. You can also look at the Land Rover models in the Freelander’s size segment, the Discovery Sport and the Range Rover Evoque.
