hi there, we are a family of 4, Teen girl 15yr and 9 yr old soccer player boy. We are interested in changing our car a 2012 BMW 5series. We have always had a freelander but hubby wanted a bmw so we have been driving that now for 5 years and never liked it. Now we want to go back to the height and comfort of an suv type vehicle. Our 9 year old cant travel long distance in the back of the bmw as its so low down. he can hardly look out the passenger window. What would you advise. we would have to do a trade in and finance could be no more than euro500 p/m. annual mileage is just average. less than 10k I think. thanks now
Hi Mairead,
You should, for that cost per month, be easily able to get into a C-segment SUV, which sounds like it will fit your bill perfectly. You could do a lot worse than looking at the Volkswagen Group’s varied products, the best (and most affordable) being the Skoda Karoq and SEAT Ateca, while the Volkswagen Tiguan (a bit more expensive) or the Audi Q3 (even more expensive) might also suit. Aside from these, the Honda CR-V, the Peugeot 3008 and the Renault Kadjar are all worth checking out, as is the new Toyota RAV4, Kia Sportage and Hyundai Tucson.
