What to replace my Octavia with?
My Octavia was crashed into and her insurance company wants to write it off for 800 euro, as it is a 2007 petrol model. This would put me out of pocket. I would like to replace it for as cheaply as possible with a two seater little van. Any suggestions

First of all, the insurance valuation isn’t that far off the mark, we’re afraid, as 2007 Octavias tend to only be worth about €1,000 to €1,750. In terms of cheap, two-seat vans to replace it, you want to look at car-based commercial vehicles – something like a Fiesta Van or Focus Commercial should be available for less than €3,000.
