Hi I'm looking for a good reliable car. I was driving a Nissana Almera 2000, as a first car for 4 years it didn't give me any problems. I travel long distances, so I'm confused either going for a Ford Focus or Nissan Tilda or Volkswagen. What type do you recommend? Or is there something better than the 3. Many thanks
Hi Amanda,
The Tiida would be a safe bet if you liked your Almera - it's very similar and solidly reliable. That said, it's not the most exciting car around and has very dull styling so why not get something more stylish? A Focus looks smart and is great to drive, but it's a bit cramped in the back. The Golf is excellent - sweet and smooth to drive, high quality and very stylish. Toyota's Auris is also worth considering, as is the Peugeot 308 and Honda Civic.
