Hi, Is there anything I should know or look out for when buying a 2009/2010 Opel Insignia. What are your thoughts on this car?
Hi Christopher,
It’s always been a really nice car, the Insignia – handsome, comfortable and good to drive (if a touch lacking in rear seat space). The common problems are turbos and exhaust filters on the diesel engines (check for a lack of power once above 1,800rpm), electrics (cabin lighting, heated seats and central locking and alarms all give trouble), sticking clutch centre plates and dual mass flywheel issues, cracked coil springs and rumbling wheel bearings.
