I’m looking at a 2005 Corsa 1.2 let with mileage of 225,000 approx , what do I look out for when viewing as it’s a nice clean car outside?
Hi Dolores,
It’s a reasonably simple car, but they do occasionally present small faults – and at that sort of mileage, it’s possible some of them might be present in the car you’re looking at. You need to take it for a long test drive, check it drives smoothly and there are no signs of black, blue or white smoke from the exhaust (typically from cold start-up or when using a lot of throttle). Check for any loud rattles, squeaks or thumps from the mechanical parts of the car when driving and check the car’s history fastidiously, to ensure it has a full service record and evidence of maintenance and repairs.
