Three owners is rather a lot for a car that’s only four years old, so I’d get a full history check done first with Cartell.ie and make sure that it comes with a proper service history too. The 1.2 and 1.6 diesel engines develop common diesel particulate filter issues if they’re only driven around town, while the dual-mass flywheels give trouble too. Lumpy idling or acceleration usually means an issue with the coil packs, while rattling noises means the timing chain or its tensioner are failing. Windscreen washer pipes crack and electric windows are fallible. Check the suspension for wear to the anti-roll-bar bushes and the front suspension lower arms.
