The words stylish and seven seater don't generally go together but there are a few options...

The Citroen C4 Grand Picasso is a genuinely handsome car and very practical underneath. Hugely popular and not hard to see why. 

The Ford S-Max I've always thought a handsome beast and they're brilliant to drive too. There's a few knocking around with the old 1.8 diesel if you look carefully enough. 

Fancy a 4x4 seven seater? Most will have bigger engines but the Nissan Qashqai +2 had a 1.5 diesel. The rear seats are very, very small though. 

Finally, and this is a personal favourite of mine, there's the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate with the folding, rear-facing seats in the boot. The last-generation model could be had with a 1.8-litre supercharged petrol engine and they're a great way to carry seven without submitting to an MPV or SUV.
