What small ecoomical seven-seater would you recommend?
I need a small economical second hand seven-seater. What make do you recomend?

Hi Kate,
I always think the best ones to go for are the various generations of Toyota Verso and Corolla Verso. The seven-seat version has been around since 2003 and they're all spacious, reliable and decent to drive. More recent model with the 2.0 D-4D diesel engine is really good but the older models still make lots of sense for those needing seats on a budget.
If the engine size is putting you off, you could try and track down a rare bird - the Fiat Doblo Familia. Not many around (a UK search might be needed) but available with penny-pinching 1.3- and 1.6-litre diesels.
