What small diesel cars do you recommend?
Hi, I was just wondering if you could recommend a car that is small and easy on diesel?

Hi John,
If you're buying second hand then it's not that easy to find a small car (by which I mean the likes of a Fiesta or Polo or similar) with a diesel engine. Probably best to go for a Volkswagen Polo or a Skoda Fabia with a 1.4 TDI engine if you can find one.
If not, you're probably better off to upgrade to a slightly larger car. A Golf, Focus or Auris diesel would be more or less as economical as a smaller car, but has the benefit of being larger and more practical.
