What small car to hold a wheelchair?
I'm looking for a spacious, 3 door automatic car, that is a petrol engine. I am a wheelchair user, and I need space for my chair. Car MUST have wide doors, and must NOT have large centre consoles/armrests

Hi John,
A lot of smaller, city-style cars have big doors thatopen very wide. The old Daihatsu Charade, if memory serves, had doors thatcould open to almost 90 degrees and they're a reliable and enjoyable car to drive if you can track one down.
Of the more recent metal, the Volkswagen up! (and Skoda Citigo and SEAT Mii) all have big, wide-opening doors so start looking for them.
