Looking to buy an Audi A6; what is the road tax on the 2.7 TDI model?

Hi John,
I’m going to stick a finger in the air and assume that you mean the most recent A6 model with that engine? That’s a 2012 model year car, so it’s the current shape, and with the 2.7 V6 TDI engine and the Multitronic gearbox (there wasn’t a manual option with that engine in Ireland) the CO2 figure was 169g/km giving annual motor tax of €570 a year in Band D.
Go back a couple of years to a 2010 model year version and you’re looking at CO2 of 192g/km and motor tax of €1,200 in Band F.
