What roof bars to get for my Audi?
I am looking for second hand roof bars for an Audi A4 Avant (2010, I think B8 is the model). Genuine Audi roof bars cost €300. Would roof bars for other similar railed type cars fit my Audi or am I confined to recommend list from Halfords, Tuille etc?

There are definitely cheaper roof bars that will fit - the mounts are generally pretty universal - but to be honest it's not something I'd skimp on. After all, if you're going to the bother of carrying something on a roof rack, you want to be sure it's secure once it's up there...
