What reliable SUV do you recommend?
Hi i am a project manager for a building company and we are looking to buy either a van or jeep to tow a trailer sometimes but also a lot of mileage what would you recommend for economical matters and something that looks good also

I think you need to be looking at something like a Toyota RAV4 (very economical, can pull a 2,000kg braked trailer) or a Honda CR-V, especially the recently-introduced 1.6-litre diesel four-wheel drive model (easy 50mpg, 1,700kg tow weight). Mazda CX-5 and Ford Kuga also well worth a look (albeit both are a bit tighter inside) and Nissan’s X-Trial, either the current model or the 2008 to 2014 one, is a solid, hard-wearing workhorse.
