It kind of depends on which car seats you’re using and how old your kids are. If at least one of them is on a booster cushion, then most cars of Focus-Golf-Astra size and above will take three seats across the back with a bit of juggling, especially if you get one of the narrower boosters. If it’s three big, bulky, high-back seats, then really you’re into MPVs such as the VW Touran, Renault Scenic, Citroen C4 Picasso, or Toyota Verso.
