What new car could I afford?
Looking to sell trade in a oo BMD 3 series and buy a new car with cheap tax/insurance for less then €3K. any advice ?

A sum of €3k will get you a mid-2000s Honda Jazz 1.2 or 1.4. Either way, it’s going to be affordable to tax, insure and run and it should be extremely reliable too.
