What model year is my BMW 520d?
I have a BMW 520d M Sport with a build date of 10/2012 date. From what I can see from my research there was no 2012 models. So does this mean its a 2013 LCI Model?

Hi Shane,
No, BMW didn’t start building F10 LCI models until July 2013, so your car is the pre-facelift version. The 520d was in production from 2011 with the N47D20 engine and M Sport trim should have been available from the off, so your car doesn’t seem out of the ordinary to us – but it is a lovely machine, nonetheless.
