I think your best bet is to ignore cars as it's almost impossible to find a normal car that can take three child car seats abreast in the back (unless you want to go for one of the conversion kits from the likes of EP Mooney, which allow you to fit as many as four child car seats in). With that in mind and with your budget I'd suggest having a look for a Hyundai Santa Fe or Mitsubishi Outlander, either 2008 or 2009. They're both seven seaters, which should make life a bit easier. Worth considering a Ford S-Max or SEAT Alhambra as well, as long as you don't mind having an MPV.
