Well, we’ve been on to Toyota about this and it’s basically a sealant, apparently developed with “NASA technology” that offers superior protection to paint and alloy wheels. Toyota claims that it’s for better than a wax, doesn’t need to be regularly reapplied and can really extend the longevity of the paint and finishes on your car. Which does sort of beg the question as to why it’s not just put on the car as standard. Anyway, as a specific product, it’s not available from any other source and it may well be worth looking into, though we haven’t had any direct experience with it.
