It depends what you mean by SUV as there are so many in so many different sizes. If you mean a small one, then the best ones are the Suzuki Vitara, Jeep Renegade or Peugeot 2008. Slightly larger? Then look at a Nissan Qashqai, Renault Kadjar or Skoda Yeti? Bigger again? Ford Kuga (post-2013) or Kia Sportage. Larger still? Honda CR-V. Seven seats? Kia Sorento. Something posh? Audi Q5 or Range Rover Evoque. Something big and posh? BMW X5 or Volvo XC90. Save the planet? Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV plugin hybrid or Lexus RX 450h. Want to actually go off-road? Toyota Land Cruiser, Land Rover Defender or Jeep Wrangler.

And that doesn't even cover everything!
