There really is no simple answer to that, as prices vary massively, as do family sizes! Saying that, there are very few electric cars on the market in Ireland yet that would be called 'family cars' by many. The likes of the Jaguar I-Pace, Audi e-tron and forthcoming Mercedes EQC are all decent in size with five seats, but they're also very expensive by normal family car expectations. The Model S and Model X from Tesla are very spacious, but again, also very expensive. Small families of no more than two kids (and not too big a buggy/travel system) could probably make do with the likes of the Hyundai Kona Electric, Kia e-Niro/e-Soul, Volkswagen e-Golf or Nissan Leaf, though none of them is particularly large inside. 

As I said at the start, there really is no simple answer to such a question.
