Hi Patrick,
You do need to watch the turbos as they can, very expensively, go pop. The trick is to make sure that your car has a full BMW service history and that it has only ever had the highest grade possible of oil at change time.
Other than that, the door handles can stick, the central locking can go on the frizz and the air conditioning can be a pain. Also check to make sure that it has the correct run flat tyres fitted.
