What is my Golf worth?
Hi there, I have a 04 Golf Mk 5 1.6 model (not FSI) 102bhp. I think ghe engine code is BGU. I have 111500 on the clock. Timing belt and pump was dine at 80k The car has dual climate control and its in a fairly good condition apart from a little shudder at low rpm in low gears(1st and reverse). I am thinking of upgrading to a newer model probably diesel and I was wondering what my car is worth and/or its trade value.

You don't find many non-FSI 1.6 Golfs of that era, but that's a bonus - the FSI engines had some horrible reliability issues. I'd say it's worth around €3,750 retail, but probably only €2,000 as a trade in.
