What type of engine would be in a Range Rover sport 2.7 diesel 2006 model
Hi Anthony,
It’s a 2.7-litre V6 diesel that Land Rover shared, at the time, with Jaguar, Ford, Peugeot and Citroen. There were some detail changes though. While the others used the engine with a twin-turbo configuration, Land Rover used a single turbo for better torque characteristics for off-roading. The engine’s electrical, cooling and oil systems were also beefed up to cope with rugged terrain. In a 2006 model, it should be the 190hp version with 440Nm of torque and 265g/km of CO2.
